To whom it may concern: We appreciate your interest in our company. Watts and Company was established by my father B. Gene Watts in the mid 1970's. He began by building residential housing primarily in EI Reno, Oklahoma. Mr. Watts went on to become city manager of El Reno, and subsequently turned the business over to me (Danny Watts) in the late 1970's. While under my direction Watts and Company expanded from just constructing new homes to heavy equipment excavation, commercial and residential remolding. We currently own our own lumberyard, "Circle W Lumber in Geary, Oklahoma. We have also expanded into HUD and other Government rehab. During the mid 1980's the oil boom went bust and almost brought the housing and construction to a halt in our area. Watts and Company survived that era without filing for bankruptcy or losing any of its assets, by simply helping its employees to find other jobs with local government agencies. I personally went to work for Canadian County Dist. # 1 as a road foreman. While in this position I constructed and maintained several hundred miles of county roads and drainage ditches. I also worked Watts and Company on part time basis doing minor construction jobs. In the late 1980's construction started picking back up, and I opened Watts and Company back up on full time basis. Watts and Company currently employees twenty full time employees including office staff, supervisors, and general laborers. Our inventory and assets are in excess of$ 2,000.000.00 dollars. We also own and operate our own electrical business, (H&W Electric) which is a success in its self, and has completed several major electrical contracts. We (Watts and Company) have just recently completed an l8-unit apartment complex in EI Reno, Oklahoma, a 20-unit remodel project, and 40 units Heat and air project for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Housing Authority. Watts and Company has also completed a 24-unit apartment complex in Chickasha, Oklahoma. A drainage and conversion remodel for Guthrie Housing Authority in Guthrie, Oklahoma, A 60 unit Heat and Air conversion for the Elk City Housing Authority, A Jiffy Lube Quick Stop in EI Reno. We have also completed several HUD project remodels for Caddo Electric Housing Authority, Hobart Housing Authority, Stratford Housing Authority, Snyder Housing Authority, Elk City Housing Authority, and remodel of homes for the Cheyenne and Arapaho agency. We have also constructed numerous homes in EI Reno, Yukon, Loyal, Calumet, Oklahoma City, and Maple areas. We have worked with various HUD consultants and Architects such as Steve Zerbel of Zerbel and Associates, Dan Doyle With HUD, Rob Elliott of Elliott and Associates, and we at Watts and Company are proud of our working relationship with these individuals. Watts and Company is also Proud of the quality of workmanship and professionalism we provide to our clients. We are Continually striving to improve that quality and professionalism to provide our clients with the best so you can be as proud as we are. We also have employees as well as myself (Danny Watts), who are on several city committees such as the (Planning Commission, and Economic Development Authority) so we may stay current with State, Federal, and Local Codes.
